Our Mission.... Cleveland Jobs with Justice is a coalition of labor, community and faith organizations working together to promote workers' rights in the Cleveland area through collective action. About Us... In addition to our membership organizations, Cleveland Jobs with Justice needs the grassroots support of you - our volunteer activists. We encourage you to Take The Pledge so you will automatically be connected to the work we do. By taking the pledge you can help others win their struggles for social and economic justice. We activate our grassroots activist base along with our coalition member organizations, allowing us to reach deeper into the community, which ultimately helps us build power for all working people throughout Cuyahoga County. Our Jobs with Justice National network is made up of 46 locally-based coalitions building power to enforce meaningful change in communities and workplaces across the country. |
And scheduled to open soon is the Cuyahoga Convention Center at the old sinking, stinking Walmart in Garfield Heights. Another non-union facility that is due to start scheduling events soon!! BOYCOTT the Great Lakes Expo Center!! Support Teamsters Local 407 and the Boycott of the Great Lakes Convention Center!! Do NOT Attend the following shows: |
BOYCOTT GREAT LAKE BREWING COMPANY AND THEIR PRODUCTS!!! Teamsters Local 293 is asking for a consumer boycott of Coors and Great Lakes Brewing Company Products distributed by Superior Beverage Group. The Teamsters are asking all of their Union brothers and sisters and all friends and supporters of organized labor and working people to stand with them. They are urging us to buy and consume only Union-delivered beverages. Superior Beverages took over distribution contracts for Coors and Great Lakes Brewing products, deciding NOT to hire most of the longtime Knall employees. Some of these employees who had been working in the business for more than 30 years lost their jobs solely because of their Union membership! |
