The North Shore AFL-CIO Federation of Labor, under the direction of Executive Secretary, Harriet Applegate is the central labor council which does a lot of great work on issues that impact the lives of working people.

Cleveland Community Shares Community Shares advances social justice in Greater Cleveland by generating essential operating funds for 35 nonprofit organizations that are working for positive community change. Funds are generated through workplace giving programs and other philanthropic initiatives. Cleveland Jobs with Justice is a proud member of Community Shares. Policy Matters Ohio
The best think tank in Northeast Ohio! Policy Matters Ohio is a non-profit policy research organization founded in January 2000 to broaden the debate about economic policy in Ohio. Their mission is to conduct high-quality research promoting decisions which benefit the whole community. Given the challenges of a rapidly-changing economic system, rising wage inequality, new issues in education, and changes in the way work is organized, it is imperative that Ohio workers have a voice in the economic debate. Policy Matters provides real-world analysis focused on issues that matter to low- and middle-income workers in Ohio. Their findings are accessible to the public, the media, and policy makers. Check them out!

Wal-Mart Watch
Wal-Mart Watch is a national organization building power in communities to put pressure on the world's biggest retailer Wal-Mart. Check out their site to learn more about Wal-Mart, and to find excellent tools and resources for fighting Wal-Mart's low road race to the bottom.

Wake Up Wal-Mart
Wake Up Wal-Mart is a national organization building grassroots support to make the world's largest retailer a better corporate citizen. Check out the site for good facts and information on Wal-Mart, and to find out how you can help change Wal-Mart's practices in your community.

United Church of Christ
The UCC is a longtime supporter of Jobs with Justice both here in Cleveland and across the country. Check out their site to see the great work they are doing for low wage workers and others in need in our communities.

Deborah Van Kleef
Deborah Van Kleef has performed her brand of rootsy rustbelt folk music for over 20 years, at concerts, festivals, coffeehouses, schools, rallies, conferences and special events, mainly in Ohio, with occasional appearances in New York, Washington, DC and California. She served for 10 years on the Executive Board of American Federation of Musicians Local 1000.
