Boycott!!

Teamsters Local 293 is asking for a consumer boycott of Coors and
Great Lakes Brewing Company Products distributed by Superior
Beverage Group. The Teamsters are asking all of their Union brothers
and sisters and all friends and supporters of organized labor and working
people to stand with them. They are urging us to buy and consume only
Union-delivered beverages. Superior Beverages took over distribution
contracts for Coors and Great Lakes Brewing products, deciding NOT to
hire most of the longtime Knall employees. Some of these employees
who had been working in the business for more than 30 years lost their
jobs solely because of their Union membership!

The first store Cleveland Jobs with Justice asks you to BOYCOTT and
avoid shopping is none other than the "Beast of Bentonville" or
Wal-Mart. Also, please remember that Sam's Club is owned by the
Walton family so add that to your list as well. There is an entire website
that has already been created about why you should not shop at
Wal-Mart so if you would like the facts check out Wake Up Wal-Mart!

Marcs, Save-A-Lot and all Nementz owned stores in the Youngstown area are
non-union employers who have resisted any union organizing activity by their
employees. They have spent hundreds of thousands of dollars to intimidate and
harass their employees who have tried to exercise their right to form a union.
Unfortunately, in some cases workers have been fired and discriminated against
when they have tried to organize. They fail to provide there workers affordable
health-care or worse yet, they offer none at all. Pensions, grievance
procedures, seniority rights, protections against unfair and arbitrary actions of
employers are all dreams workers at these stores have.

And scheduled to open soon is the Cuyahoga Convention Center at the old sinking, stinking Walmart in Garfield Heights.
Another non-union facility that is due to start scheduling events soon!! Check back often for more details and for more
